Whether you want to get fit, learn a new skill or just get out and enjoy the weather, there are many classes you can take to stay healthy. With the summer season quickly approaching many local gyms are already booked solid. If you have been trying to squeeze in a little exercise during the hectic summer months, now is the time to start looking for a class you can take to help you burn off some extra calories. Whether you are looking for an aerobic class or something more relaxing, here are a few different classes you may want to consider:

Spinning Class Spinning is a high impact aerobic workout that gets your heart pumping and your body moving. Outdoor classes at nine participating gym locations are usually free for members and you are always allowed to join in on the fun by just showing up. Please check with the gym you are interested in attending for availability of their spinning class. Please register online ahead of time for each class. Non-owners can still pay in online per class, too.

Zumba Classes Zumba is a fun Latin-inspired dance that is gaining popularity among Americans of all ages. This low impact, high energy, and energizing workout is great for beginners and pros alike. While it has gained a lot of attention recently, you don't need to try zumba if you haven't tried it before. Classes are available at almost all fitness clubs, rec centers, even at your local mall. This low impact, low fat, high impact workout is perfect for any type of fitness level from beginner to intermediate.
