Green vegetables, also known as leafy green vegetables, salad vegetables, garden herbs, leafy green salads, or just green vegetables, are the fleshy plant parts consumed as a vegetable, with stems and often leaves attached to the stems. Some of the antioxidants can also prevent cancer from occurring in the first place.
